MASSAGES

Chose any one or more from our various massages:

Aromatherapy / Reflexology / Shiatsu Massage

AROMATHERAPY
The use of aromatic extras from plants can add a whole new dimension to your massage. These concentrated essences, taken from flowers, herbs and trees, are known as “Essential Oils”. Aromatherapy is the practice of using these oils therapeutically to treat a wide range of ailments, from insomnia and stress to muscular fatigue, depression and nervous tension.

In Aromatherapy massage, essential oils are applied to the skin and worked into the body. The effect may be either stimulating or calming, depending on the types of oils used and on the needs of the individual who is being massaged.

REFLEXOLOGY
Following an illness, stress, injury or disease, the body is in a state of
“Imbalance” and vital energy pathways are blocked, preventing the body from functioning effectively. Reflexology can be used to restore and maintain the body’s natural, balance and encourage healing.

The therapy brings relief to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, and is suitable for all ages. An increasing number of people are using this safe, relaxing therapy, balancing and harmonizing the body.

A reflexologist uses hands to apply gently pressure to the feet. The reflexes of the feet correspond to organs, glands and other parts of the body. When working on these points a reflexologist can release the blockages and restore the free flow of energy to the body.

SHIATSU MASSAGE
Shiatsu is a Japanese acupressure, stretching and massage technique. By applying pressure to various parts of the body certain responses are effected and energy blocks are released.

Symptoms such as headache, stiffness, backache and tension disappear, leaving the client feeling more balanced and revitalized.

Shiatsu is traditionally practiced on the blood and the client should wear loose, comfortable clothing.
